Oxford launches marketing book

Kolkata, Aug 24 (IBNS) Oxford Bookstore and Pearson Education, a leading educational publishing company, launched a book on marketing named ‘Principles of Marketing: A South Asian Perspective’ here on Tuesday.
The book aims to help students learn how to create customer value, target the correct market, and build customer relationships.
Present at the occasion, Prafulla Y. Agnihotri, one of the co-authors of the book, said, “It was a wonderful experience to work on this book, to look for relevant Indian cases, adapt the marketing theory to the South Asian perspective and, above all, to work with the legendary Philip Kotler.â€
Philip Kotler’s Principles of Marketing is considered the Holy Grail in marketing by students and academics across the world.
The South Asian edition of this text by Prafulla Y. Agnihotri and Ehsan ul Haque provides insight into the markets and marketing in the Indian subcontinent, including examples and cases from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
